ZED-SHED - Zoom Meeting Audio-Visual Team Scheduler

ZED-SHED was an application that existed in the previous version of this website, when it was hosted on a different computing platform.

It was designed to assist those who were involved with regular large meetings over Zoom (or similar) such that an AV team was required to ensure things ran smoothly behind the scenes. Where also those team members were often involved on the program of those meetings, then this raised an awkward team scheduling problem. Combinatorial problems like resource scheduling can be solved using AI constraint programming techniques. ZED-SHED was a resource scheduling program designed for just that purpose.

Constraint solvers can be quite thirsty in their use of computing resources, and so it is not wise to make such too readily available on the WWW. ZED-SHED was free to use and without any adverts, but registration for authorisation was required to access it.

ZED-SHED required both authentication and authorisation. Authentication was provided by Google, and so ZED-SHED could be used by anyone with a Gmail address. Authorisation had to be provided by me.

For the avoidance of doubt, ZED-SHED is no longer available.
